Field Hockey Camp: Girls Grades 1 - 8

Join your 1st - 8th grade friends at Neighborhood Club's summer youth field hockey camp!  This is a beginner to intermediate level camp for players looking to grow their field hockey skills through skill repetition with a focus on mastering the fundamentals.  Each session will also include lots of fun and movement including body mechanics, agility games, individual and team competitions and small sided scrimmages.

Dates:        Aug 31 - Sept 2
Time:         9:30 - 11:30am
Fee:          $90/member, $105/non-member
Register by:  August 26th
Location:  Grosse Pointe South Softball Diamond
Equipment:  Sticks will be provided!  Players must have shin guards, mouthguard & plenty of water at each session!

Camp Supervisor: Margi Whittingham & local high school player coaches

Margi played on Grosse Pointe South's first field hockey team, winning the state championship her junior year. She went on to play collegiately at Tufts University (2006-2009), where she captained her team and led them to two NCAA final four appearances & a Division III National Championship game.
